Sup, Newgrounds!

For the past few weeks I’ve been building an essay on my own history with the place, otherwise my formal introduction would’ve been much lengthier—this blurb will suffice for now.  

Part of the delay was due to an external SSD falling into a coma and potentially taking with it about 90% of everything created since mid-2008.  In preparation for this worst-case scenario much of my free time had been spent diagnosing the issue and fussing around with recoveries and backups from legacy sources which may restore up to that time, at least, though I still face the possibility of a substantial loss of archives/memories/projects if professional surgery fails; my second brain is on the line…

Ironic how this occurred as creativity is finally on the trot again, and over what, exactly?  

OPENING TOO MANY WORD DOCUMENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY ON A MACHINE BUILT FOR STEAM.

Fucking hell…  

Anyway, as I’ll elaborate later, I’ve returned to NG to enjoy the place and post up some arts, starting with notable bits debuted elsewhere and this wave will gradually subside as more recent pieces arrive. In the meantime I’ll throw some enthusiasm and constructive crit as I go along and see what vibes.

Hell, this move might even lead to getting back on my animation game…or even working on my website. :o
