I'm not familiar with the story behind this meme; only recently did I come across Crunnchy's bit on YouTube which I'm measuring this against.

All told, I dug it. Clean linework, quality animation, and the additional flair given to her failure to give a damn was an amusing touch.

curry-paws responds:

Thanks a lot!!

The artwork and animation were mostly tight. The incomplete state of some frames could actually work to a stylistic advantage; say, whenever there's a REAL quick move, express it as a somewhat deconstructed sketchy form...? Maybe...?

A small blurb at the beginning would help to give a little context for all of us new to the NIGS universe and might even do away with the HERO labeling at the top of the segment, since the rival goes unidentified as such.

I wasn't really feeling the music for the situation. An ass-kicking sound effect performance would've been groovy.

It's always great to see One Blaze in ACTION!

Neochilds responds:

In terms of the music.. well the music inspired the animation... i.e Evangellion so unfortunately the music stays. But thanks dude for checking out the animation.

Simple, but dope.

Even though it was very simple, I thought it was dope. I like when little blob-man was like, "ALL RIGHT". :D Another cool thing about it was that, unlike many simple 'fight' flashes I've seen, your characters had an actual form; they weren't just stick-line people, know what I mean? Good show!

Knight-mare responds:

thnks
its one of my first works, so I understand
I like that part too

blob-man? thats good! I even think about the name of my character thnks for that too

by the way theres another one coming so psick it up if you can

Smooth moves.

It's a fair looper, but the scene is a bit too subdued for its music. By the sound, I'd expect a more active scene. What if Samus' arm cannon was like a glowstick (or had one sticking out of the barrel)? You could pull off some neat glow-echo effect with it.

Samus needs more friends to rave with.

Elite-Sniper responds:

First time I ever used sprites. =\

It's a trap.

In this age of widespread broadband, anyone who ignored the File Information may be lead to believe that this gag is a huge movie.

What it really is, is an animation consisting of a simulated Loading screen followed by a play button to cut into a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene of Wario tumbling across the screen.

Yeah, I fell for it, too.

superblinky responds:

you're the first thing you note

Not very effective.

A Sonic wannabe doing a quick move into some Flash-filtered text in the middle of a desert doesn't seem very effective, even if it is just an ID.

NovallyBlur responds:

oh please...

YES, I'd hit THAT. PERFECT!! 10000

The drawing of the Gas Cloud could be improved. The new voice clip edits are GREAT, and along with that, the Funny was on point. Short & sweet. Nice conclusion after the conclusion.

Watch it to the end, folks!

Zenxin responds:

Thanks for the review! I'll see what I can do for the gas cloud. I would've liked to use the one from the game but I haven't been able to find any sprite rip of it so I tried to go for the goofy cartoony likeness for it.

My Heroes

F-14 Tomcats make me rigid. :D

But seriously, there was some real good art here, but not enough motion. Some clouds rapidly passing by the planes would've been a nice touch.

Might I suggest looking up Macross Zero footage for reference?

Foxbat responds:

Yeah it's a great aircraft

Thankyou, ah yes I should have done that, I'll try that next time.

will do, thanks for the advice.

Simply put,

Wicked Child is one of the best CastleVania flash movies in CastleVania Flash Movie history.

My heart was rocking along with the White Skeleton & Sir Grakul during the guitar solos.

Good drawings, good animation, good ish all around. This movie rules. -_- ,\,,/

GREAT first Frash!

For a second there, she looked like one of the Wedding Peach chicks. I love the cameos of other famous game icons.

You shoulda had her trip one of the karters, then get knocked out by a red shell. ;)

The music change didn't seem to fit the giant goomba. Unless it was a timeline messup. I love the last frame, where she's pissed off, it's really cute. :]

A sharp opening entry without that many noticeable technical errors (I'm sure she had more frames to her run in the game). I wonder how you've progressed since! NEVER GIVE UP.

KarmaX responds:

Thank you. By the way, you already know this.. ;) ...but just to let anyone else who stumbles onto my submission page here, your movie is my favorite on NG, currently. And hopefully you and other people will see how much i've progressed soon becuase I'm starting production on my first major movie at around the new year. yay! Until then, i'll be working on the general concept and the early writing and storyboards.

It'll be so much better than this submission. ;)

Until then (and for some progress every now and then on how it's coming along when i begin work) check out my website at http://karmax.vicfieger.com (my best bud Vic Fieger is giving me free webhosting.)

It has some other video game and anime related flash stuff, but it's stuff that I feel is not quite good enough for newgrounds, imo. Think of them as slightly entertaining exercises in early Flash making.

Imagemaking storyteller presently enjoying this digital Artist Alley. Perhaps I’ll add a thing or few. :o Stay creative, folks!
